I'm Joaquín, an independent software developer at deMarjal.
My work brings together computer science and visual arts. For years, I have developed video games, mobile apps and educational software. More recently, I have also worked on full-stack projects and AI-based products. I like to get to the heart of a problem, work out a solution and stay involved throughout development, paying attention to the details.
I have also worked as a specialist instructor for a module in an advanced vocational training program, where I taught video game development and virtual reality applications. I have led audiovisual projects, including music videos, short films and documentaries, and created 3D animations for video mapping. Working across these fields has given me a practical view of the whole process, from architecture and implementation to interaction, visual communication and user experience.
